Ha, i figured out how to do it, and it was very simple. I just had to hook up the remote system turn on wire to the wire harness. So to everyone who thinks bypassing a factory amp is difficult, just try that, it worked for me.

I just bought 2 Alpine Type-R 15's, 4-ohm's. I have about $300 to spend on an amp. I've seen factory refurbished MTX 8100D's for $300 and thats what ran them previous to me owning them, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How in the hell do you bypass the factory amp in a 95 Chrysler LHS, the pack of jackoffs at best buy told me it would cost about $100 to bypass is, i told em to eat me and i'll do it myself. So i need some help, a step by step description would be nice. thanks.

I need to know if anyone uses Performance Teknique amps, 2000x2 watt. I'm thinking of getting one, but i'm just not sure, never used the brand before. Any suggestions?

I'm sellin this stuff for a friend, he had 2 MTX Thunder 8100's, one for each subwoofer in a ported box. He only used one amp for casual use and both of them for competition. But if anyone wants it, gimme an offer and i'll run it by him.

2 15" Alpine Type-R Subwoofers, 1 daul ported box, and one MTX Thunder 8100D Amp. All is under 1 year old, all have warranty still. If you're familiar with Alpine they have a very good warranty system. Amp is 2000 watts i believe. Possibly will separate, leave me a line here, or email...

I can't get all the cash right away, gotta good steady job, looking for someon who'll trust me enough to sell me a $800-1000 stereo, will pay 150-200 weekly payment in money order, ship stereo day after 1st payment is recieved. I'm an honest person, if you hook me up w/ good stereo equipment...

My friend had it hooked up in his Explorer running 2 ohm, he had 2 thunder 8100D's he hit 145.6 db. so the subs can handle it

Okay, I went to the guys house, the amp is an MTX Thunder 8100D 1 year old, the subs are brand new Alpine Type-R 15" 2-ohm, the HU is an Alpine, not sure of the model number, i know its only 6 months old, bulit in x-over, 4 4V amp pre-outs, brand new it was $597.43, i saw the reciept...

This setup was in a 95 Chrysler LHS and it hit at 141 db.

2 Alpine 15" Type R's BRAND NEW, MTX 1500 watt Digital Amplifier, 6 months old. Alpine Competition CD Reciever, not sure the make but i know its $600 brand new Custom box for the 15's for $1400. And all the wiring. Is that a good deal?

This is about the 3rd time posting this. Shipping is too much on them. They're a 2000 Yamaha Blaster, and a 1997 XC 600. The Blaster was taken into the shop the other week and had over $200 worth of repairs, brakes, and sprockets. It runs perfect, doesn't look too bad, for being ridden hard...
