Apsm 1500 multiples have to be strapped?

These amps have confused me. I can operate a pair just fine if strapped, but if I try to run each one at 1 ohm it seems there is no pass through from the first amp. Maybe my only choice is to use a y adapter? Never seen an amp that didn't have master/slave switches like these, and don't actually pass thru for multi amp operation. Any experience appreciated. These are new to me?

I use Waze on my 1500 NEX. The one time I did have issues I had to delete weblink and redownload it. I have location to "while using" on weblink app.

This would go a long way to alleviating the dimming issue, up to around 4000 watts. It can handle 100A continuous and up to 285A 7 second burst...
