I have a guy that's wanting me to build him a box for 6 XFL 10's, but I've never built a box for that many subs before. He's going to be running around 6k watts total, which is also a lot more power than I'm used to working with, so I'm unsure of what kinda port area to shoot for. I usually build with 16-18 Sq in per cube and it has worked great, but it still apply with this many subs and that much power? I'm still learning, and rarely get a request for 4+ subs. He has 3 sperate boxes but he wants lower tuning little less airspace. I was going to do between 1-1. 10@31hz net each, or 6-6.25 total. Should I go with a common chamber, separate chamber, or a pair per chamber. How many ports and what port area should I shoot for. I really want to make sure this dude is happy, so any input is definitely appreciated. Also if anyone thinks he will benefit more by running say 4 subs instead, please speak up. My max dimensions are 70" wide x 14" high x 18" deep just in case it's relevant.
