Upgrading need some advice

Hey! this is my first post looking for some advice. I drive a 2003 grand marquis with a huge trunk and listen to alot of deep bass rap.

I need some advice on 2 good budget 15" around 100$ each that will fancy my JL audio 500/1 amp

Here are a few that I was considering

2 re Audio SRX15D2 15" Dual 2 Ohm Car Sub Woofers New 611892991149 | eBay

2 Kicker 10C158 10C15 8 15" Single 8 Ohm Comp Series Car Subwoofers Subs 713034050216 | eBay

Memphis PR15S4V2 Car Sub 15" SVC 500 w Loud Pro Bass Subwoofer Speaker New | eBay

When it comes to subs I love the deep deep bass and the air movement vibrations

also I was wondering would it be ok to have the subs and ports on the box facing upwards toward my trunk?

thanks

I would start off with a single 15 on that much power. Then if you want more either sell the amp and get a bigger one or get another identical one. This will allow you to choose much better subs in the 500-600 rms range

The RE subs will move the most amount of air with 18mm xmax and the large cone area of 15's in general. They are rated around 300 watts rms so that would be 600 watts obviously and the 500/1 does that roughly. Just make sure you get either a 2 ohm or 4 ohm final load. As far as the ported box my experience is that ports and subs facing backwards about halfway or 2/3's of the way towards the bumper produces the most even bass low bass and higher I have also found that having the box against the back seat facing the bumper produces the lowest bass but you lose a bit up that upper bass punch but that might just be my Ford Taurus 2012 trunk.
