Whats the better amp to run at 2ohm

A kicker zx1500.1 or a Cerwin Vega Stroker 2000.1? Both do 1500+at 2 ohm, the CV would do more if he decides to switch to 2 D4's to get more power but I don't think he will be any time soon. Also both are around the same price but one has feedback as I have delt with the seller, other has none on this board.

Stroker is nice and if its the same seller I dealt with he wont ship first no matter the feedback. Otherwise id already own it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That Stroker is an awesome amp (I owned 3 of them). Super clean, lots of power. Also way more versatile with coil options. It's so much more amp than that Kicker.

Class GH topology. A/B sound quality with D efficiency. Yum.

It is and hense why I am sceptical. I even offered half now half at delivery.

Kicker! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif But seriously, I told you the same thing about having the head room with the CV etc... Its more "bang for your buck" but if its never going to be ran @ 1 ohm, the head room doesnt apply. lol Both amps will give you around the same power @ 2ohm, one is cheaper and only stable @ 2ohm and one allows for upgrading in the future yet costs a bit more. All depends if he wants to spend the extra money and take the risk with a seller with 0 feedback really.

yeah thats why i'm going to go with your kicker. Feedback on a big purchase is a biggie. Plus the kicker would sell a hell of a lot faster locally if he does decide to upgrade in the future.

Im not trying to sway you one way or the other...But, you know I'm good for it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I would be weary of making a $300+ purchase from a first time seller. On a smaller amount, Ive taken a chance with first time sellers...but when ya get up there to a decent amount of money, I usually pass on them. Either way you go, if he never goes below 2ohm, you're not going to notice a difference in power and it saves a little bit of money getting the kicker. Personally, I wish I would have bought a 1 ohm stable amp in the first place..but the kicker is a nice amp and one of the better amps out there rated @ 2ohm.
