Hi guys, i'm about to order a pair of aq sdc2.5 12's for a 3.5cu box that i have tuned @ 37hz. I currently have 2 hifonics hfi's in there (from my first setup). the hfi's are running off a brutus brz1700, but will the sdc2.5's be able to get louder without upgrading amp or new box?

little on the small side for SDC's. I like the 12's in 4.25 - 4.5. You could try it in that box as tuning is fine, but I'm sure port area is on the small side also.

Are you able to build a box? If so hit me up and I'll give you a design for them if you decide to go that route...

Thanks for the input, but may i ask how it would be louder? Cone area is still the same as well as power to the subs. Sorry im still relatively new, and i am just curious.

just a better sub it prolly wont get too much louder unless you change the box.needs to be around 4^3 at 32 hrtz .i may have a box already built for thr subs if interested .i'm about an hour and a half south of you down 101

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
